Our client is looking for a Agriculture Instructor to join their team in Greenmount Campus!
Rate of pay: £15.97
Hours: 37
Shift: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: 11 months
Job Duties:
1.To teach a range of practical sheep and cattle skills to Level 2 students, as specified in the course programme. Skills to include weighing, dosing, injecting and tagging stock and selecting animals for slaughter.
2. To assess student compe tence in a range of practical sheep and cattle skills to Level 2 students. Skills to include weighing, dosing, injecting and tagging stock and selecting animals for slaughter.
3. To complete all appropriate documentation relating to each instruction and assessment session as required.
4. To record/evaluate learner performance and provide feedback.
5. To undertake required training as prescribed by Course Awarding Bodies, funding agencies,
6. To undertake all other duties as assigned by line manager
Essential Experience & Qualifications required:
- Maths and English GCSE or equivalent at A-C grade.
- Level 3 Extended Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent qualification.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Desirable experience of one year employment within the Agriculture industry.
