Installation Planner

Job Overview

We are seeking an Installation Planner to join our team here in our office and showroom in Dunloy, Co. Antrim. This role is full time/permanent - 39 hours per week, working for a very long established, family-run company.

The role of Installation Planner is pivotal within our company. We are seeking to hire someone with strong process, organisational, and people management skills. Within our business, customer experience is at the forefront, your motivational and strong organisational skills will be desired to achieve our company growth.

Duties:

• Organising our installation schedule

o Working with factory floor staff to ensure items are ready for dates required
o Working with our various suppliers to ensure items are ready and delivered to us for dates required
o Working with our installation teams to ensure they are well organised each day for each job they are going to, and to ensure they have all necessary products, kit and equipment for the current job/project
o Communicating daily with the installation teams to ensure all is going well, checking-in with the project on-site.
o Liaising with customers/contractors/builders to arrange installation dates
o Organising the installation schedule on our in-house scheduling software

• Organising our surveyor’s daily schedule – jobs currently needing measured
• Organising and arranging our maintenance schedule

Necessary Criteria:

The suitable candidate must be:

• I.T literate, and confident working with Microsoft Software – Word and Excel
• Possess 5 GCSE’s (including English and Maths)
• Experience in the construction industry desirable, but not essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Superb communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Self-motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills
• The ability to perform in a dynamic and pressurised environment
