This role will provide a comprehensive, confidential and Executive Assistant service to the newly appointed Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, a senior member of the University Executive Team. The postholder will be responsible for all aspects of the organisational and administrative functions required in order to ensure the Provost and DVC can deliver on strategic goals.
About the person:
Candidates must demonstrate how they meet the essential qualifications and have significant recent relevant experience in supporting a senior/executive manager or strategic project area to include:
Diary management, meeting preparation (producing papers/briefing information, collating data, etc.) and committee servicing.Experience of organising complex events and meetings involving multi- disciplinary teams and/or external stakeholders.Experience of preparing complex reports and associated documentation to support decision-making.In addition to the above, candidates must have relevant experience of and enthusiasm to work in a fast- paced, matrixed, goal- oriented environment. Relevant experience of working with high profile, high- net worth or otherwise influential (external) individuals, as well as relevant event management experience is also a minimum requirement.
Candidates who can sufficiently demonstrate a substantial and sustained record of relevant experience as outlined above will be considered in the absence of having the qualification sought.
