We are recruiting on behalf of our client the Northern Ireland Housing Executive for an experienced Joiner.
This post will be based in Shankill Road, Belfast and will initially be on a temporary basis for 3 months with possibility of an
extension based on performance. The working hours will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am until
4pm with an hourly rate of £12.80.
The successful candidate will be working with the Housing Executive travelling to properties and carrying out any essential
joinery work. The main tasks will include:
- Inspect, repair and carry out any joinery in NIHE properties and leave properties in a safe and tidy condition
- Collaborate with other staff or contractors on sites as necessary
- Support and mentor apprentices as required
What We Need From You:
- Successfully completed a Joinery apprenticeship
- Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in a Joinery environment
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Full, clean, UK driving licence
- Willing to undergo an Access NI police check
