Energis is recruiting for a Production Planner for our growing engineering client based in South Down.
Candidates with relevant experience in other areas of production will also be considered; training can be provided.
The successful Production Planner will schedule production to both maximise efficiency and meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
· Track production metrics such as labour efficiencies, cycle time and other KPI’s as required.
· Analyse data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
· Prepare reports on production performance for management review.
· Confirm production completion date to sales
· Raise works orders for finished product and run MRP process to generate works orders and distribute all accordingly.
· Creation of BOMs
Criteria:
· Previous relevant experience in production planning / scheduling / admin within a manufacturing / engineering environment
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
· Strong IT skills, ideally including the use of ERP systems
· Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
Salary is in the region of £30k depending upon experience.
