NI Regional Manager (Healthcare, 6month+ maternity contract)

Honeycomb is delighted to be assisting a health-care relative body with the uptake of an experienced Manager at Regional Level. Immediate 6mth+ maternity contract, Belfast.

The Client - Working in partnership with many different organisations, this organisation in Ireland plays a key role in ministering to the physical needs of people.

Today the organisation provides services for a diverse range of users across Ireland. This includes: residential care, supported housing and nursing care for older people, day care, residential respite care, supported living and other services for people with a learning disability and those with a physical disability. Furthermore , they also work with people with addictions and with offenders.

Excellent package of £49k- 54k per annum and wider benefits. Located in Belfast, hybrid.

The Role - This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our passion for providing excellence in care.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of the provision of governance and operational social care service across a designated group of facilities in Northern Ireland. They will also line manage the relevant Care Home Managers whom span across 8 sites regionally.

The Person

• A Social Work quali?cation OR a ?rst level Registered Nurse OR an allied health professional (e.g. Dioecian, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist) AND 4 years’ experience in a health and social care setting working with regulated services

OR

• One of the following - QCF/ Level 5 Diplomas in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (Adult Residential Management or Adult Management) as listed in the Personnel speci?cation, AND 5 years’ experience in a health and social care setting working with regulated services

OR

• For existing experienced managers who do not hold an appropriate quali?cation, a minimum of ten years’ experience in a senior manager (registered manager or regional management) role in services regulated under the provisions of the Health and Personal Social Services (Quality, Improvement and Regulation) (NI) Order 2003.

• Knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards for the Health and Social Care services, including the need for management and delivery of person-centred service.
• Willing to work within and uphold the Christian ethos of PCI in management and delivery of services
