Apple Recruitment are recruiting for an Administrative
Services Officer (Band 4) on behalf of HSCNI Strategic Planning and Performance
Group (SPPG) based in Belfast area.
Main duties and responsibilities:

To be responsible for ensuring all mandatory
eLearning training is fully completed by all SPPG staff and monthly returns
produced for consideration of Group Heads
·
To hold responsibility for ensuring adherence to
the relevant Contracts Management procedures and policies within the Corporate
Business function
·
To be responsible for the development, input
management and maintenance of the databases for revenue and HSC Recharge costs.
·
To liaise with the Local Commissioning Group
(LCG) Chair, Assistant Director and Senior Managers and provide business
support in relation to the monthly LCG / Commissioning Groups meeting within
the agreed timescales.
·
Responsible for the day to day management of the
administrative function of the local office and the provision of support to the
Assistant Corporate Business Manager and Corporate Business Lead relating to
regional secretariat support.
·
To establish and maintain effective
communication systems within the Corporate Business Team, and other
directorates both internal and external to the SPPG.
·
To develop, organise, manage and maintain secure
filing systems both manually and electronically in line with Good
Management/Good Records guidelines and office standards.

Applicants must, by the closing date:
1a.) A-Levels and GCSEs English & Maths (Grades A-C) or
equivalent.
AND
18 months Administrative/Clerical experience.
OR
1b.) 3 years Administrative/Clerical experience.
2.) 1 year’s experience working with Microsoft Office (e.g.,
MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook), or similar.
3.) 2 years’ experience in high level word processing
(report writing, spreadsheet maintenance etc.)
4.) Have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft
PowerPoint, Word, Access & Excel.
5.) Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to communicate
fluently and effectively both writing and orally with other agencies, members
of staff and all grades of staff
6.) Ability to work efficiently and effectively under
pressure
7.) Ability to work as part of a team and to use own
initiative
8.) Good organisation and time management skills with the
ability to plan and organise work to deliver high quality work within tight
timescales
9.) Self-motivated and willing to accept responsibility
10.) Ability to understand and analyse problems and devise
practical and creative solutions
11.) Have a responsible attitude to dealing with sensitive
and confidential information
12.) Working knowledge of the HSC systems.
13.) Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for
use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be
waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who
have access to a form of transport approved by The Organisation which will
permit them to carry out the duties of the post.

Further Details:
· Hourly Rate: £12.86
· Hours: 37.5 hours, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
· Duration: Up to 3 months with possibility of extension
· Required to travel between four regional offices i.e.
Belfast, Ballymena, Armagh and Derry/Londonderry.
