Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative NPD Technologist to join our Innovation and Development team. Reporting to the Senior Product Development Manager, you will play an integral role in developing new products and refining existing ones, ensuring they meet customer requirements and marketplace trends. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in all aspects of the product development process, from test kitchen samples to factory launch.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the reformulation of existing products to align with customer specifications
• Monitor and report on market trends
• Facilitate the transition of NPD samples from test kitchen to factory pre-production and launch
• Prepare products and samples for both internal and external presentations
• Assist with pack copy information, including cooking instructions and shelf-life samples
• Create and validate cooking instructions
• Conduct bench marking taste panels to compare market products
• Collaborate with the Technical department to create product specifications
• Attend factory trials and participate in customer presentations
• Maintain excellent housekeeping within the Innovation centre

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in product development within the food industry
• Third level qualification in food related discipline
• Full, clean UK Drivers License
