Workshop Controller - HGV (£34k - £36k) Paid Overtime

Workshop Controller

Based in Belfast my client is a market leading HGV dealership. They are currently seeking to recruit someone with recent experience in either HGVs, vans, motor factors, car dealership, construction plant, forklifts, agricultural equipment or similar sector. This role would suit someone who has experience working as a Workshop Controller or a Service Advisor who has previous experience working as a Mechanic or a Mechanic who is looking to move into a different type of position. On offer is a salary of £34,000 - £36,000, paid overtime and pension etc.

Role - Workshop Controller

· Assist in general daily running of workshop in an efficient and disciplined manor in conjunction with Management and Foreman.

· Encourage and train the technicians

· Ensure technicians complete all job card write ups and sign off Service / Inspections

· Consult with customers informing them of all updates, on their vehicle including additional costs on the repair work.

· Ensure service reception is made aware of all completed jobs, as well as informing the customers.
