JOB TITLE: Primary Care Clinical
Research Nurse
SALARY: £35,392
- £42,618 per annum pro-rata
LOCATION:
Eastern FSU, 1 Bradford Court, Belfast, BT8 6RB
Contract: 2-year fixed term
contract in the first instance with possibility of permanency.
Secondments
will be considered.
The
Northern Ireland Clinical Research Network (NICRN) was established to provide
the
opportunity
for the public and researchers to become involved in high quality clinical
research
studies in the areas of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and health
care
delivery in the community
NICRN
and the Eastern Federation Support Unit have come together to re-establish the
Primary
Care group of the NICRN. Eastern FSU are now recruiting for Primary Care
Clinical
Research
Nurses who will be based within the Eastern Federation Support Unit.
The
Clinical Research Nurses will support and promote the practice of clinical
Research,
working in partnership with key stakeholders to secure the achievement and
maintenance
of national targets, including the accrual of patients into trials and other
high
quality
studies, within the network.

the Methods in Research in Health and Social Care (Level 7 module).

Key Essential Criteria:
- Registered Adult
Nurse First level on the NMC Register
- Advanced Methods in Research in Health and
Social Care (Level 7 module) or willing to complete in first 12
months of post.
- 5 years post
registration nursing experience.
- Knowledge of
planning, coordinating, and conducting clinical trials/other research
study designs.
