Mechanic / Vehicle Technician
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Job Brief
At Auto Tribe NI we are seeking skilled mechanics/vehicle technicians to join the team!
Successful candidates will reliably carry out mechanical repairs, services and general maintenance to client vehicles (all Makes and Models) and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle health checks/inspections to accurately identify issues (current and potential); and provide recommendations for repairs
- Undertake routine maintenance work and repairs (e.g. oil changes, replacing fluids, brake replacement etc.) with the aim of improving vehicle safety and functionality
- Prepare vehicles for PSV/MOT
- Provide accurate estimates (time, effort) for a repair or maintenance jobs
- Keep logs of work undertake and issues noted
- Test drive vehicle pre/post repair (where necessary)
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience
- 2 years’ experience or Level 3 qualified Vehicle Mechanic qualification
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Drivers Licence
