Employment Solicitor / Senior Associate
Location: Belfast Northern Ireland
Experience Level: 2+ years PQE (8+ Senior Associate Level Considered)

Your New Role
Our client, a fast growing medium-sized solicitors practice, wants to hire a skilled Employment Solicitor / Senior Associate to join their successful team in the Belfast office. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with a strong focus on employment law, who is looking to work in a collaborative and supportive environment with a variety of clients.
What Will I Do?
As an Employment Solicitor, at a mid and senior level, you will have the autonomy to manage your own caseload and develop your skills and expertise further. At a junior level, you will have the support and guidance of very experienced and well regarded practitioners to help you manage and develop your employment law career. You will be part of a team that provides specialist advice on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious. This includes recruitment, employment monitoring, disciplinary procedures, long-term absence management, contract enforcement, and more.
You will also have the opportunity to represent clients in Employment, Industrial, and Fair Employment Tribunals, as well as handle corporate support work in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, restructures, insolvencies, large-scale redundancies, and data protection though this is less than 10% of the role.
The Candidate
We are looking for a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE specializing in employment law. However, we welcome applications from NQ up to senior levels. Candidates who are dual-qualified in England and Wales, and NI will be highly regarded, though applications from all jurisdictions will be considered.
