My Client Parkside Surgery based BT15 require a permanent Practice Manager to join their team on a Full time (37 Hours) basis however Part time hours will be considered
About The Practice
Parkside Surgery currently have four GP Partners and two salaried GPs. Their aim is to provide the highest possible standard of care in a convenient local setting.
Parkside Surgery sits in the heart of its community within a bespoke building containing two GP practices, a Pharmacy, a Library, a Swimming pool and a Gym. Their list size is 7000; they are an established GP training practice and contribute to the education of medial students in both Queen’s and Magee Universities. Practice premises are leased and maintained by the Belfast Trust.
Essential Criteria
1.A degree or *equivalent level qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a managerial role
OR
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Practice Manager in General Practice
*Equivalent is considered to be level 6 on National Qualification Framework https://www.gov.uk/what-different-qualification-levels-mean/list-of-qualification-levels
2. Experience of managing staff to include recruitment, training, performance management and staff development
3. Experience of managing the provision of a service to members of the public
4. Financial management experience
5. Proficient in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or similar systems
Desirable Criteria
1. Experience of management in primary care
2. Experience of dealing with complaints
3. Experience of implementing quality improvement projects
4.Experience of General Practice IT systems - preferably EMIS Web
5. Knowledge of relevant legislation (Health & Safety and Employment/ Equality etc.)
Salary - £35,000.00 - £50,000.00 dependant on experience
