Biomedical Scientist required for an immediate start based at Craigavon Area Hospital working in the Cellular Pathology
Laboratory. This is a temporary post initially for 4 months.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am-5pm with a pay rate of £18.10 per hour.
The main duties will include performing all routine tests associated with Cellular Pathology, supervising and training trainee
biomedical scientists and medical laboratory assistants, quality control, ensuring accurate entry of data onto the computerised
system, record keeping and filing duties and processing samples for distribution.
What We Need From You
- Be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Biomedical Scientist
- 1 year’s post HCPC registration experience in Cellular Pathology
- Have completed IBMS Specialist Diploma (or equivalent) in Cellular Pathology or have been employed as a Specialist
Biomedical Scientist in 3 of the last 6 years working in Cellular Pathology
