GL Accountant

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a company based in Craigavon to recruit for a GL Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.

My client is a leading business in the Craigavon area that operate in the Shared Services space with a US parent company. Now is a great time to join them as they look to develop their services further.

Your New Role:

Reporting into the Record to Report Senior Manager, duties of this role include:

• Producing financial reports for all business units (Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually)
• Assisting in statutory accounts preparation
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Knowledge of revenue, overheads, inventory, and fixed assets
• Assisting in audit preparation

What You Need to Succeed?

• PQ/ Newly Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience Accountant
• Strong knowledge of reporting standards (IFRS)
• Strong technical knowledge
• Working within manufacturing is desirable
