We have a new opportunity with our public sector client in Downpatrick for a Driver with Caring Duties. This role is on a temporary
basis, initially for 3 months with the possibility of an extension. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours a week working Monday to
Friday 8am until 4pm. The rate of pay is £11.67 per hour.
The main duties for this role include transporting Trust clients and staff for social and educational outings, assisting clients into and out of
vehicles, providing appropriate personal assistance to those in wheelchairs or walking aids, securing clients with recommended restraint
devices and participating in group activities.
What We Need From You
- 6 month’s previous experience in a similar role
- Hold a Full Category D Driving Licence with no restrictions
- Hold a current Driver’s Qualification Card
- Experience using passenger tail lifts, ramps and ancillary equipment
- Willing to undergo an Access NI
