Transition Service Support Worker

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Transition Service Support Worker on a permanent full-time basis, covering the Greater Belfast area. As you'll be driving in this role, you'll need a full, clean driving licence and a car.

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:

• Provide effective 24-hour support to service users, in particular, young people transitioning into the community.
• Advocate for and ensure the needs of young people are met effectively while making sure you promote their independence through progression, development, and support.
• Ensure the young person is consulted and involved in all aspects of their support where possible.

Requirements:

• Female only under BFOQ guidelines.
• 6 months of experience paid or voluntary, in supporting people with complex needs, multiple needs, and challenging behaviours in the last 3 years is highly desirable.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C minimum.
• NISCC registered, or willing to be on the register within 6 months of appointment.
• Valid, clean driving licence and access to a car to meet the needs of the role.
