My client is a niche Retail Design company with an
enviable track record of delivering unique design projects for clients within
the specialist sectors of One-off Retail Outlets, Quick Service Restaurants and
Airport Retailing. They have successfully delivered many bespoke design
projects on prominent sites across the UK and Ireland.
Continued business success and planned expansion sees
the need to appoint a creative Design / Architectural Technician. Primarily you
will support the Design Lead to deliver projects, but you will be actively
encouraged to nurture your own creative flair on your own projects. This is a
full-time permanent role that offers hybrid/remote working.
Key aspects: -
- Minimum 5 years’ experience ideally gained in an Architectural, Fit-Out
or Design environment.
- Proficiency / working knowledge of, AutoCad, Revit, or Archicad.
- Ability to develop 3D visuals and walkthroughs, using latest rendering
software and photoshop.
- Technical detailing of layouts, furniture & fixtures for
manufacturing.
- Conduct site visits for measurement & project monitoring.
- Source and select materials, including FF&E.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to company guidelines
& standards.
- Travel to projects overseas at short notice.
- Willing to work outside of 9-5 to meet deadlines.
- Enthusiastic individual, with a passion for design & developing new
concepts.
- Must be able to work office based for first 6 months, before remote
working.
- Willingness to undertake own projects.
