Head of Logistics (Manufacturing)

You will;

As Head of Logistics, you'll be a forward thinking, self-starter who works well under pressure with the ability to work collaboratively with all business areas.

The Key Requirements

• Degree level, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or Business Administration.
• Proven ability to develop, manage and motivate high performing teams in a matrix management environment.
• Understanding of the key drivers in customer service, manufacturing, transport & warehousing operations & how this is integrated with Warehouse operations.
• Experience in operating warehouses and warehouse networks to support manufacturing and despatch operations.
• Experience of prioritising and balancing inbound and outbound stock movements & controlling warehouse capacity
• Experienced in operating inhouse inbound raw materials operations and managing HGV drivers.
• Experience in managing and maintaining a fleet of heavy goods vehicles and other vehicles, production and warehouse support vehicles and trailers and FLT’s.
• A working knowledge of supply chain systems & processes within a manufacturing environment (e.g. Order Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Transport Management Systems, Inventory Management Systems & ERP systems especially SAP)
• An understanding of how to integrate sustainability throughout all processes and decision making.
