They are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in SCADA, PLCs, and production processes to join the talented team.
Job Description:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical control systems to enhance our production processes. Your role will involve working with SCADA systems, PLCs, and various automation technologies to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to control production machinery and processes.
- Develop and maintain SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for monitoring and controlling production operations.
- Integrate and optimise electrical control systems to improve process efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and engineering, to implement automation solutions.
- Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including electrical schematics, control diagrams, and maintenance records.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and reduce downtime.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in SCADA systems, PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric), and automation technologies.
- Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, including hardware and software components.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in electrical engineering.
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
