We are searching for an experienced & adaptable administrative assistant to support our team within the NI Fire and Rescue Service. The perfect candidate will be organised, have great communication, be compliant in the use of Microsoft office and filing systems and be passionate about delivering detailed administrative support.
LOCATION: Belfast BT12
POSITION: Senior Administration Support
PAY RATE: Band 4 £12.86
HOURS: Full time Monday-Friday

Requirements:
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including English and Math
- At least two years administrative support in a busy business environment
- Experience of use of windows and Microsoft office
- Effective planning, organising, prioritising, and great attention to detail
- Can work as an individual or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in taking minutes
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer focused administrative service
- Produce information, reports and statistics for management, committee or working groups
- Assist service support business unit with the production of the business units business plans
- Assist in the reviewing and monitoring of systems and processes
- Collaborate with other administrative units to ensure consistent methods of working
- Administrative support to the directorate including production of technical documents, manuals and operating procedures
- Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence of a general nature, including drafting responses and/or forwarding to the appropriate section
- Design, create and maintain databases, spreadsheets and other documents, in conjunction with the Service Support Business Manager
- Provide administrative support for internal and external meetings at the appropriate level, in conjunction with the Service Support Business Manager.
- Order, issue and monitor stationery and office supplies as directed by the Service Support Business Manager
