MCS Group are delighted to be working with a large scale Public Sector Organisation in their search for a Laboratory Admin, within their Food Microbiology Department.
The role:- Follow set protocols for the provision of microbiological culture media and support to an ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratory.
Working in a team that provides media, sterile glassware and reagents to enable the functioning of scientific processes, projects and routine testing of Food Pathogens.
Record media quality data and keep records appropriately.Dealing with the treatment and safe disposal of laboratory waste from Containment level 2 and 3 Food testing laboratories.The Person:
- Driving License Preferable.
- 5 GCSE's A-C (Inculding Sciences).
- Science A Levels Desirable.
