Our client is a highly respected, professional and growing specialist
construction company within the residential, new build and home extensions
sectors.
Due to an upcoming prestigious private residential development within
the Mallusk – Newtownabbey area, they wish to recruit an experienced,
professional and conscientious Site Manager to take responsibility for the day
to day running of the site.
Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate will look after;
THE ROLE
·
Perform site inductions
·
Oversee on site health and safety, and employee
welfare
·
Scheduling of activities onsite
·
Monitoring
and reporting of progress
·
Work
closely with subcontractors to ensure they are available as required
·
Manage and co-ordinate tradespeople to ensure
all work is completed to the highest possible standard
·
Signing of subcontractor works prior to release
of payments
·
Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials
are available as required
·
Monitor material usage and wastage
·
Attend regular site meetings as required
·
Ensure all equipment, tools, machinery etc are
properly maintained and secured
·
Keep accurate records and paperwork
·
Keep a detailed diary of activities and people
onsite
·
Collect and deliver materials when required
·
THE PERSON
·
A minimum
of 4-5 years as a Site Foreperson/Manager to include recent experience of
delivering housing developments.
·
Some
joinery experience would be desirable but not essential.
·
The ability
to deliver projects to agreed deadlines.
·
Excellent
people management and skills.
·
Strong
interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
·
IT literate.
·
Good
organisational and paperwork/documentation skills.
·
Highly professional and takes pride in delivering
projects to a high standard.
SALARY
A salary up to £45k (depending on experience) will be on offer to the
successful candidate.
