- THE ROLE -

The post holder will develop antimicrobial drug formulations and use appropriate in vitro and/or in vivo preclinical methods to determine their efficacy.

The post holder will conduct research into the development of ectopic murine tumour models as targets for stimulus responsive therapeutics. In addition, histological, immunological, genomics and transcriptomics based analytical systems will be used to probe the underlying mechanism of the observed therapeutic effects.

We may create a 12-month waiting list for the same or similar roles within the Department / Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts.

- ABOUT YOU -

The post holder will be required to have:

- A degree or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Science or related discipline.
- Experience in the preparation of antimicrobial drug formulations.
- Experience in the efficacy testing of antimicrobial drug formulations using appropriate pre-clinical models.
