My client is the leading fire safety company in Northern Ireland. Based in East Belfast, they provide a full range of fire safety products, services and training to help keep businesses and organisations legally compliant, fully insured and most importantly safe from the hazards of fire.


Due to the continued year on year business growth over the last 14 years we have a need to recruit a full-time permanent Fire Safety Engineer.


Duties Include

- Work in a team to help with Installation and Servicing of Fire Alarm Systems and Emergency Lighting.

- Servicing and Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers

- Completion of Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

- Interacting with clients, explaining service reports and basic training on occupier checks

- Updating our bespoke Fire Risk Management System and Engineer System

- Use Risk Assessments & Method Statements to complete jobs

- Stock and equipment management using our Inventory System


Experience/Requirements

- You do not need to a qualified electrician, some electrical experience would be beneficial. Ability to learn and willingness to take on training is a must, be a quick learner who can follow written and verbal procedures.

- Fire alarm servicing and maintenance experience preferred.

- Emergency lighting and PAT testing preferred.

- Must have good computer literacy (tablet & on-line service report systems).

- Customer service skills and a strong verbal communicator.

- Organised, self-motivated and able to use initiative.

- Full clean driving license is required.

- Valid CSR & Electrical card would be beneficial.

- English & Math`s GCSE grade `C` or above is preferred.


What we offer

Competitive base salary of £24,960 to £31,200 dependent on experience, significant individual & team bonus scheme. Company van (full-time) and all required tools and equipment.
