Who we are:
Brain Injury Matters (NI) is an independent regional third sector organisation established in 2013 . Our mission is to support, empower, and advocate on behalf of all those affected an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). ABI is damage to the brain that occurs after birth and is not related to a congenital or a degenerative disease.
What we do:
BIM (NI) has developed a reputation for developing and delivering a range of innovative programmes and initiatives led by a diverse team of clinicians, and has grown its turnover to around £500k a year.
Our 14-strong staff team is guided by a skilled and committed 11-strong board. The executive team comprises clinicians and practitioners with expertise in acquired brain injury supported by a corporate services staff team.
