Marketing/PR/Journalism Graduate

My client is a successful, dynamic and expanding business services company within their niche sector. Due to ongoing expansion, they now wish to recruit a Marketing, PR, Journalism or closely related graduate.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the sales and marketing admin function as well as basic marketing and PR duties to build up their experience.

SUMMARY OF KEY DUTIES

• Answering calls and initial client enquiries
• Input key information on to the system
• Proof read reports and articles for social media
• Check fonts, layouts and corporate logos are correct before sending out information and posting online
• Email clients using standard templates based on enquiries
• Send out information packs to interested customers
• General office support to help with the smooth running of the company
  

THE PERSON

• A marketing, PR, Journalism or closely related graduate
• A minimum of 6 months previous office experience (can include a university placement)
• Strong interest in marketing and social media
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good attention to detail when checking articles
• Looking to build a career within Marketing/PR
• Excellent IT skills

SALARY

A starting salary up to £25k will be on offer to the successful candidate. In addition, there will be the opportunity for career progression to Marketing Executive level and future increases as the role develops.
