Queen’s University engineering students are set to benefit from a unique partnership with FG Wilson.
The 26 students, from the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, have been awarded scholarships for academic excellence in mechanical and electrical engineering.
The scholarships will provide financial support as well as work placements, helping the students achieve their full academic potential.
Managing director of FG Wilson Dr Mark Sweeney said: “The encouragement and development of engineering and other STEM skills is vital for the Northern Ireland economy and for globally-focused manufacturing businesses like FG Wilson.”
