People professionals from across Northern Ireland are preparing to gather together online for the eighth annual Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) Northern Ireland HR Awards.
The awards, hosted by television presenter, Pamela Ballantine, celebrate the impact and achievements of individuals and teams working in HR and learning & development in Northern Ireland.
Taking place on October 1, awards will be presented across 12 categories including leadership, change management, diversity and inclusion, talent management, wellbeing, external consultancy, HR SMEs, employee engagement, L&D, student of the year, and HR/L&D team of the year. There is also an award for outstanding contribution to the profession, presented to an individual selected by CIPD Northern Ireland.
Head of CIPD Scotland and Northern Ireland, Lee Ann Panglea said: “The way that most of us work has changed significantly since the start of the pandemic, and the role of the people professional has never been higher profile. The CIPD NI Awards recognise the outstanding contribution of both individuals and teams working in HR and L&D. They are highly sought after, and we’ve put a huge amount of effort to ensure that our digital ceremony has the same anticipation and excitement as our annual awards ceremony at Titanic Belfast.
“While of course we’re very disappointed that we can’t be together in person, we’re delighted that so many people will be joining us on Thursday to see who the winners are, and to celebrate their success.”
The digital CIPD NI HR Awards ceremony takes place at 4pm on Thursday October 1. Tickets are free but should be booked in advance at cipdniawards.co.uk.
