The Henderson Group has been shortlisted for a Responsible Business Award.
Shortlisted in the Wellbeing at Work Award Category, sponsored by Larne Port, Henderson Group has demonstrated excellence in inspiring and supporting its employees to prioritise their health and wellbeing and embrace positive lifestyle choices.
The Responsible Business Awards, run by Business in the Community and supported by JP Corry and Ulster Business, seek to recognise and celebrate firms in Northern Ireland that are making a difference by taking practical action to address pressing social and environmental issues.
Group HR Director at Henderson Group, Sam Davidson said: “People are the key to success for any business, so at Henderson Group we are determined to provide a workplace environment that is healthy and enjoyable around our Tomorrow Matters CSR strategy. Our wellbeing programme, WellAware, offers a convenient hub of information and resources which is accessible to everyone in the Group with timely and pertinent health information at their fingertips.
“As a company, we are also keen to support community health agendas through our sponsorships of many such events, including the Craic 10K, Omagh Half Marathon and the Belfast City Marathon for the first time this year.
“It is an honour to be recognised by Business in the Community and their prestigious awards which we look forward to in May.”
Business in the Community Northern Ireland’s Managing Director, Kieran Harding, said: “Now more than ever, businesses are getting on with the job -demonstrating strong leadership and their commitment to their people, the planet and the places in which they are located. The Awards provide the perfect vehicle to showcase some of the best responsible business actions being taken by organisations here to ensure they are continuing to be a force for good in society.”
The winners will be announced at a gala event at Belfast Waterfront Hall on Thursday, May 30.
