THE world’s leading provider of talent acquisition and management services has launched a Recruitment Academy in Northern Ireland.
Alexander Mann Solutions is co-ordinating the venture with the Department of Employment and Learning Minister following the success of its first such venture here. At that stage 19 participants completed the programme and 17 secured permanent employment with Alexander Mann Solutions, and this subsequent Academy aims to provide a further 20 graduates with the skills and experience required to take up opportunities in recruitment skills and candidate sourcing techniques.
The recruitment campaign will target Higher National Diploma and degree graduates from any discipline, and offer an intensive six week training programme leading to the opportunity to compete for a role with Alexander Mann Solutions. Successful participants will also gain an industry-recognised qualification.
Tracy Hurst, head of the Belfast Alexander Mann Solutions Global Client Service, said: “We are very excited to have opened our sixth Global Client Service Centre in Belfast servicing Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
“As an organisation, we believe that people are the foundation of success and our ability to attract, retain and engage top talent is critical. This programme will be key in enabling us to hire a new generation of talented and high-potential individuals as we look to continue to build and grow our organisation in Belfast”
Applications to the Academy will close on Wednesday, February 18, at 4pm, and the training pro-gramme for successful applicants will start on Monday, March 23, 2015.
Meanwhile, Queen’s and Ulster University students who are making a positive impact on their communities have been celebrated at this year’s Science Shop.
