ACCOUNTANCY and advisory firm BDO Northern Ireland raised £8,000 for the Northern Ireland’s Children’s Hospice by staging a Christmas pantomime.
Staff from the firm swapped their suits for colourful costumes to perform the festive favourite Aladdin at the MAC theatre in Belfast last month, attended by more than 450 people.
BDO partner and Aladdin cast member Carol Malcolmson said: “The team at BDO has consistently enjoyed rising to the challenge of always seeking innovative ways to support local causes.
“The production of Aladdin was a cross-firm team effort, requiring a huge commitment from the dressmakers to the actors\actresses and the organisers.
“Accountants are not always known for their fun side, but I feel we certainly rose to the challenge.”
