A NEW online training resource has been launched to assist health and social care workers move up the career ladder or take their first steps to a rewarding profession.
The free e-learning courses and online resource have been developed by nursing agency, Lucas Love Healthcare.
Director and registered nurse manager Sinead Polland said: “We have always provided training to ensure that our members deliver the best possible care, but we understand that it isn’t always practical or possible to take a day out to complete vital training.”
The courses include moving and handling theory; infection prevention and control; safeguarding vulnerable groups; administration of medications; managing aggression; promoting independence, fire safety, and health and safety.
Free practical training on moving, handling and basic lifesupport is also available.
