THREE Northern Regional College students from Coleraine have completed work placements in the Biomedical Department at the University of Ulster as part of their Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science.
Zoe Flynn and Mantas Rudys got an insight into the‘real life aspect’ of working in the science industry. Joseph Suarez- McHenry is currently completing a three-day placement with Armstrong Medical.
Course tutor, Dr Johanne, said:“Students benefit greatly from working in a professional environment. It allows them to bring this experience into the classroom, as well as giving them a range of important transferable skills and valuable experience in the industry.”
