LAW firm Allen & Overy has invited ambitious school leavers with an eye for detail to sign up for a unique scheme aimed at fast tracking talent onto its team of document specialists and checkers.

The Belfast Document Services Team is involved in the production and management of more than 20,000 complex legal documents each year.
The ‘earn as you learn’ initiative includes a placement in London and supports trainees to complete qualifications linked to customer services and a range of professional software packages.
Upon successful completion, trainees will have an opportunity to apply for roles alongside more than 50 staff in the Belfast Document Services team Paula Feeney Document Services Lead at Allen & Overy’s Support Service Centre in Belfast said: “Sixth year students are preparing to take big decisions about their futures and alternative training routes should be considered among other options.
“Programmes like this offer participants the prospect of learning on the job and continuing to study for recognised qualifications.
“We recognise the importance of degrees, but opportunities should be available for anyone with the right aptitude and desire to forge a rewarding career in the legal sector.
“We’re always on the lookout for exceptional talent. If you think you have what it takes to work for one of the world’s leading law firm, then we want to hear from you.”

“The last year has gone in fast and I’ve gained experiences that I thought I’d have to wait years for.
“Being part of an international law firm has given me the chance to travel, work with colleagues in other countries and contribute to big projects.”
