A series of four major Jobs Fairs and Advice Forums are to take place over the coming weeks.
The fairs, organised by the Department for Employment and Learning, will take place in the Millennium Forum, Derry/Londonderry, on Thursday September 18 (10am to 4pm), Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre in Ballymoney on Thursday September 25 (10am to 4pm) the Canal Court Hotel in Newry on Tuesday September 30 (10am to 5pm) and the Europa Hotel in Belfast on Tuesday October 21 2014 (10am to 6pm).
Speaking ahead of the Job Fairs and Advice Forums, the Employment minister Stephen Farry said: “These events bring employers, support organisations and jobseekers together under one roof.
“The job fairs have something for everyone and I would encourage anyone, whether in work, unemployed or simply considering their education and training options, to explore the services which will be available on each day.”
A wide range of vacancies will be available at each event, with a particular emphasis on Information Technology (IT), Media and Creative Industries. Advice and guidance will also be available on a range of training and reskilling opportunities.
