Ulster University has recently announced that applications for their 2021 Graduate Internship Programme are now open; designed to give recent Northern Ireland graduates the opportunity to start their graduate career off right.
This Graduate Internship Programme is open to 2019 and 2020 graduates from all disciplines who are residents in Northern Ireland and eager to take their first steps on the career ladder. It combines an exciting, paid work-based internship with a fully funded postgraduate module in Developing a Professional Identity from Ulster University. Meaning graduates will receive a £315 bursary per week for the duration of the 10-week programme and once completed, will also have earned an extra postgraduate accreditation!
There are 35 placements on offer across a wide range of subject areas and locations within Northern Ireland, all of which have been funded by the Department for the Economy. Graduates will be placed with an experienced employer and will work on key strategic projects to help develop their own skills and experience while working towards goals for their organisation. They will also benefit from the direct mentorship of the Employer Partners, all of whom are eager and excited to welcome a new generation of graduate talent to their business.
The Graduate Internship Programme is a new extension of Ulster University’s Graduate Leadership Programme, which has invested in and supported NI graduates for many years.
Speaking on his experience with the Graduate Leadership Programme, Ulster University graduate in Business Studies Brandon Hemphill said, “The experience so far has already allowed me to excel and develop my leadership and business acumen skills. Being able to work with new contacts and explore a new industry has already given me a really positive experience and has shown me that I am a person with high levels of integrity and standards.”
Applications are open until the 11th January and internships start no later than the 25th January. Apply now to make sure you start the new year off right, with a fantastic opportunity from Ulster University!
