A Belfast sports tech firm founded by former Ulster Rugby player Andrew Trimble hopes to create 15 new jobs.
Kairos, set up by Mr Trimble and Gareth Quinn, enables professional sports clubs to plan and communicate with players more efficiently. Kairos said it worked with sports clubs including Manchester City and Ospreys rugby/hockey to build the platform.
Mr Trimble said: “Contending with a cluttered landscape of ever-changing player and team schedules, meeting times, gym requirements, equipment, medical and PR appointments can create chaos in the mind of the professional athlete. Kairos offers a solution to this problem.”
Mr Quinn said the firm is closing in on an investment which will “enable us to establish a base in Belfast and to create at least 15 jobs over the next 12 months”.
He added that the company was “hugely encouraged” by feedback during a funding round.
