THE finalists of this year’s Hospitality NI Awards have been officially announced at a reception in the Bullitt Hotel, Belfast.
Formally known as the Janus Awards, the Institute of Hospitality NI Awards, annually recognises the most dedicated and passionate professionals working across Northern Ireland’s ever-expanding hospitality industry.
Chairperson of the Institute of Hospitality NI Michael Cafolla said: “We are always delighted to see so many nominees for employees in the hospitality industry who take pride in achieving a world-class level of professionalism and customer service.
The primary reason for the Institute of Hospitality Awards is to celebrate and recognise their professionalism.
“Every year the awards grow in popularity, and the standards keep getting higher and higher. Now in their 22nd year, these awards are an excellent barometer of the health of the thriving hospitality industry in Northern Ireland.
“Because these awards recognise and celebrate the consistent commitment to quality, style and innovation, it’s appropriate this year they are supported by world-renowned, Kildare-based Newbridge Silverware.”
To celebrate the recent opening of the first Newbridge Silverware store in Northern Ireland, located in Belfast’s Arthur Street, the Irish jewellery, home and giftware company is providing the trophies for this year’s awards gala to be held in Titanic Belfast on May 5.

All those industry personnel nominated are already recognised as stars in their field, Institute of Hospitality NI Awards comperes BBC’s Barra Best, UTV’s Pamela Ballantine and Michael Cafolla presented them with a Newbridge Silverware star to mark their achievement on reaching the final.
