That’s according to Stephen Welch, chairman of British Industry of Facilities Management (BIFM) Ireland region, speaking ahead of a conference at the Waterfront on Friday, November 15.
The Facilitating the Future conference will showcase facilities management and the range of disciplines within this industry which is valued at £106.3bn in the UK and £10bn in Ireland.
Mr Welch said: “There are few industries that have experienced such rapid growth in recent years and that can offer the opportunity for career progression. Within the UK and Ireland, facilities management is still one of the fastest growing professions.”
