Belfast Met student band, The Chains, won gold award for Originals Band at the 2014 Music Skills NI competition held recently in the Market Place Theatre, Armagh. The band members are studying an HND in music and are Kristian Humphrys, Eoghan Johnson, Caoimhe Cairns, Martyn Garbett, Mike Whan and Adam Mullan.
