Fund for future film talent

12th April 2017

EMERGING artists forging careers in the Northern Ireland movie industry can benefit from new support offered through a special fund to help with training courses in prosthetics, prop and hair design for film.

Titanic Creative Management (TCM) launched The Movie House Cinemas Artist Fund during a unique sculpting course with Hollywood Creature Designer, Brian Wade.

The Movie House bursary offers financial support for people working to build their careers in the film and television industry by accessing training at Titanic Creative Management taught by some of the top names in the industry.

The programme kicked off with two artists receiving support for TCM’s weeklong training session by Brian Wade, who has over 36 years of experience designing and creating characters and creatures and has worked on many hugely popular productions including Stranger Things, Batman vs. Superman and Van Helsing.

Over the course of the year, the Movie House Cinemas Artist Fund will support ten up and coming artists who demonstrate a clear passion for make-up and prop making for film.
