People professionals in Northern Ireland have just four weeks left to enter the 2021 Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development Northern Ireland (CIPD NI) HR Awards. The CIPD NI awards are the most prestigious accolades for the HR and L&D profession in Northern Ireland and entries for this year close on Friday June 25.
Now in its ninth year, the awards comprise of 12 categories, with awards for outstanding individuals and teams, as well as categories for the most impactful initiatives in inclusion and diversity, L&D, change management, talent management and wellbeing.
Recognising the huge shift to homeworking over the course of the pandemic, the 2021 awards include a new category for remote and flexible working.
Lee Ann Panglea, Head of CIPD Scotland and Northern Ireland said: “Northern Ireland has a hugely talented HR community, and we really encourage individuals and organisations to take some time to reflect on their achievements and enter the awards this year, in what has been the most challenging year in most of our working lives.
“The process of putting an entry together gives individuals and organisations the opportunity to outline the many ways that they have gone above and beyond to support their people, and help their organisations adapt to change. That in itself is a really positive aspect of the process, and of course the sense of achievement of being shortlisted and the pride of winning an award would be the icing on the cake.”
Entries will be judged by an experienced panel of HR and business leaders, senior academics and some of the CIPD’s own experts.
The shortlist will be announced on August 13, and shortlisted entrants will be invited for interview in September.
After holding last year’s awards ceremony virtually, the CIPD are very hopeful that they will be able to announce this year’s awards as planned, with a ceremony at Titanic Belfast on October 7.
Leading specialist recruitment company, MCS Group, are title sponsors of the awards for a third consecutive year, and nijobfinder is the media partner once again.
The awards are free to enter and are open to all people professionals, not just CIPD members.
