20th January 2014

BUDDING young entrepreneurs are being supported by the local business community to develop new enterprises.

Over 20 students from the University of Ulster and Queen’s University Belfast are taking part in the Belfast Enterprise Academy (BEA), funded by Belfast City Council, Invest NI and the European Regional Development Fund under the Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland.

BEA is aimed at degree students living in Belfast who would like to become entrepreneurs.

The students get to meet real entrepreneurs from different fields and have the chance to ask questions and get advice, as well as learn how to overcome some of the challenges faced by new entrepreneurs.
