A BELFAST-based digital agency is creating 13 new jobs as part of a plan to increase sales in export markets.
Formed in 2011, Engage specialises in the creation of websites and web applications and has offices in Belfast, Dublin and London. The additional staff will enable the company to grow its business in the key export markets of Republic Of Ireland, UK, and the USA.
Steven Cassin, Engage’s Client Services director, said: “Our team works with larger organisations across multiple sectors including retail, travel, finance, banking, utility providers and government agencies.
“We deliver content management and ecommerce capabilities, using market leading technologies which create digital marketing agility for our clients.
“We work collaboratively with our clients across the UK and Ireland to create highly innovative digital solutions which support many business critical services such as customer service, ecommerce sales and credit application processing within the finance sector.”
Thanking Invest NI for its £97,500 of support towards the creation of the new jobs, Mr Cassin continued: “We are delighted that our business is continuing to go from strength to strength. Invest NI’s support over the last few years has been paramount to our ongoing success and has helped us to promote 23 new jobs since December 2012, 10 of which have been created to date.
“Due to this support, we now sell over 70% of our services outside Northern Ireland.
“These new jobs will be invaluable to our business growth and mean that we can take on additional areas of work and continue our focus to extend our services into new markets.”
Congratulating the company, George McKinney, Invest NI’s Director of Technology & Services, said: “I am delighted to be announcing 13 new jobs for Engage, a very innovative company which, with Invest NI support, has grown quickly since it was established in 2011.
“We previously supported Engage to create 10 new jobs and provided it with a range of assistance, including research & development, skills development and marketing assistance.
“Through this support, the company rapidly developed its digital business, which has led to this further opportunity for expansion. This is yet another strong endorsement of the skills and talent available in Northern Ireland.”
