Don’t miss chance of an exciting new career

22nd February 2016

THERE are dozens of jobs advertised in today’s nijobfinder.

The variety of positions include a housing officer, events assistants, pharmacists and a post office manager.

Belfast City Council is looking for candidates to join the new City Centre Development team to help transform the physical and economic fabric of Belfast. They are seeking a city centre development marketing manager with experience of promoting city development and investment strategies.

They are also recruiting for a finance manager with experience of monitoring budgets, managing funds and leading on funding applications for projects. Both positions offer salaries of around £50,000 and have a closing date of March 7.

Also in today’s supplement, the Northern Health and Social Care Trust (HSC) is advertising for a director of human resources and organisational development. This demanding post requires exceptional strategic vision and outstanding leadership abilities. The successful applicant will lead and manage a team of specialist and generalist HR professionals and will also be required to provide corporate and strategic leadership as a member of the Trust’s executive team to deliver an ambitious programme of transformational change and service reform.

Meanwhile, 74 new jobs have been created thanks to a combined investment of over £3m by 17 Fermanagh and Omagh-based businesses.

The new jobs will be across a broad range of roles and industries. Once in place it is expected they will contribute over £1.5m per annum in annual salaries.

Invest NI has offered £518,385 to support the growth of the businesses, based within the Fermanagh & Omagh Council area.

Enterprise Minister Jonathan Bell said: “This is a significant investment of over £3m by 17 companies who, by doing so, are committing to both their future and the sustained business growth of the local area.”
