BELFAST based design company, Kris Turnbull Studios, is going from strength to strength and looking for new team members with the drive and innovation to keep them at the forefront of their game.
The studio, which is relocating to bigger premises on the Lisburn Road, is recruiting for six different positions, including: design consultants, an interior designer, an architect and a financial accountant.
Company director, Nicola McLarnon believes the company’s ability to adapt has been the key to their success. She says: “In the six years we’ve been in business we have developed and diversified our service, extending our client base beyond Northern Ireland throughout Ireland, and into London, Dubai, Paris, and the rest of Europe.”
“We made our service more comprehensive by extending the creative team and developing a full compliment of design services to include architecture and interior architecture in addition to interior design, whilst keeping the focus on the individual and retaining the personal touch.
Working on a mix of high end residential in addition to niche commercial projects we broadened our client base.
“We’ve worked really hard to develop our supplier portfolio to ensure we can offer a comprehensive exclusive range of luxury furniture and fabric design houses to keep us ahead of the game.”
Any new recruit at the studios will be expected to share the company’s ethos and vision. Nicola said: “We are looking for innovative, creative people, who like the rest of the team, will have a real passion for what we do.”
Encouraging this entrepreneurial and forward thinking approach Generation Innovation is looking to the youth for future leaders of the new economy.

The programme aims to provide an exclusive support programme and network for Northern Ireland’s brightest and best young people that will harness their passion, talent and ambition to forge their own high achieving career.
They believe that nurturing local talent from an early age is vital to the growth of the local economy.
Teachers, parents and businesspeople are being urged to nominate high potential young people to become this year’s exclusive members of Generation Innovation.

“The network aims to develop long term relationships with these gifted young minds to provide them with the support they need to become future leaders of the new economy.
“We would encourage all principals, teachers, parents and businesspeople to nominate young people who have the ambition and passion to change the global business landscape and drive Northern Ireland’s future economic success.”
The programme will provide ambitious young people, regardless of background or exam grades, with the platform to be inspired by leading global innovators, to meet local entrepreneurs and like-minded young people, and to identify work experience positions and future career paths.
