The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has announced the shortlist for the ninth annual CIPD NI HR Awards.
The awards celebrate individuals, organisations and practices that are championing better work and working lives in Northern Ireland.
Lee Ann Panglea, Head of CIPD Scotland and Northern Ireland said: “The past 18 months have been hugely challenging for us all. People professionals have been at the heart of their organisations’ responses to Covid-19, helping them work through the myriad of changes in response to Covid-19, adapt to new ways of working, and supporting employees with their mental health and wellbeing, while still managing day-to-day HR operations.
“People professionals in Northern Ireland have really stepped up to the challenge, and the awards have given organisations of all sizes the opportunity to showcase their amazing work.
“The quality of entries this year has been really exceptional. Many congratulations to everyone who has made it to the shortlist.
“We are really looking forward to hearing more from our shortlisted entrants when we hold our panel interviews next month.”
The entries were scored by a panel of 13 judges from academia, consultancy and leading public and private sector organisations in Northern Ireland, who will now host a series of panel interviews on September 7.
Ryan Calvert, Manager of Human Resources, Legal and Compliance divisions at headline sponsor MCS said: “Congratulations to everyone who has been shortlisted for these prestigious awards, reflecting excellence in HR and people management through such a challenging time.
“Best of luck to everyone with their interviews, and we are really looking forward to celebrating with you all at the awards ceremony in October.”
