THE Chartered Institute of Personnel Development Northern Ireland has launched its 2014 Awards.
The awards recognise excellence across the HR/personnel development profession.
Two new categories have been added to this year’s awards, meaning that a total of 10 awards will be presented at the gala celebration in Larchfield Estate.
Recruitment specialist Brightwater is the headline sponsor for the awards, which are taking place on May 15.
CIPD has more than 3,000 members in Northern Ireland, working in businesses and organisations both large and small, and has stressed that all individuals, teams and organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors are eligible to enter the awards.
The new categories for 2014 cover Learning and Development Initiative of the Year and Consultant of the Year.
The other awards will recognise the best employee engagement, and health and wellness initiatives, the best change management programme, the best HR team and HR professional, an outstanding HR student, and there will be a Building HR Capability for the Future Award.
In addition, the CIPD chairman’s Special Achievement Award, chosen by the executive committee of CIPD NI, will once again recognise an individual, team or organisation who has contributed in a significant way to the HR profession in Northern Ireland.
Nijobfinder will act as media partner for the awards. Commenting on the partnership, Independent News and Media advertising manager, Mark Reilly, said: “We are delighted to be involved in these prestigious awards. There’s a great synergy between the awards and Belfast Telegraph Nijobfinder, the number one jobs platform in Northern Ireland.”
