Beauty Outlet, a discount beauty retailer, is set to open its biggest UK shop in The Junction Retail and Leisure Park in Antrim.
The Beauty Outlet opening marks a £1m investment in a unit of almost 4,000 ft.
Creating around 20 new jobs, the store will be the chain’s second opening here, joining an existing store at The Boulevard in Banbridge.
The opening will see the retailer selling make-up by brands ranging from Stila Cosmetics to Clarins and Revlon at ‘affordable’ prices.
Beauty Outlet will open next Saturday and, as well as opening offers, top make-up artist Louise McDonnell, from LMD Makeup & Hair Salon, will host a beauty demonstration.
Formerly known as Junction 1, The Junction is being expanded by owners Lotus Group in a £30m revamp.
A new McDonald’s restaurant and drive-thru is one of 20 new shops, cafes, restaurants and drive-throughs planned for the site.
The redevelopment and landscaping will make The Junction Northern Ireland’s largest shopping and leisure destination.
When approval for the expansion was granted by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, The Lotus Group, which owns the retail park, said up to 500 jobs would be created.
The Junction is one of three retail parks here owned by Lotus who also own The Boulevard in Banbridge.
